We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position:  Application Administrator

Main Responsibilities 

1. Full CBS Support in all branches and Head Office (Frontend users And Backend)
2. Execution Of CBS Day end and Month End Run
3. Run relevant scripts for Support and routine software backups
4. Daily, weekly & monthly reporting of CBS (Core Banking System)
5. Administration of Test PCs and Test Server for CBS and all other software
6. Co-ordination of User Acceptance testing of CBS new release and updates
7. Support in software testing and migration to new Banking Application
8. Key team player in the local Application management by leveraging on technology
9. Develop tactical tool in order to streamline or bring more efficiency within processes
10. Give support to other Software vendors on CBS interface or 3rd parties
11. Run relevant scripts on other databases
12. Key team player in supporting the IT assets management and upgrades
13. Ensure system integrity, availability and confidentiality of all Enterprise solutions
14. Ensure a proper segregation of duties/rights of users on CBS
15. Ensure integrity of daily CBS backups
16. Ensure availability of test servers (Core banking system, MIS, middleware)
17. Ensure application-level business continuity of banking operations at any time
18. Maintain and develop deep knowledge of products, parameters, user rights, profiles and processes of CBS

 Experience and Knowledge

1. Minimum B.Sc. / HND in Computer Science or related discipline with cognate experience
2. At least 2 years hands-on relevant professional experience in a similar role
3. Good Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 - 2012
4. Knowledge of Web Interfaces and PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, ASP.NET
5. Windows Server Certification will be an added advantage
6. Efficient use of Win SQL 2008 & 2012
7. Active Directory Experience and In-depth knowledge of database
8. Experience in web development, mobile development and object-oriented programming
9. Release/change management Experience
10. Analytical and problem solving skills and process-oriented approach to work
11. Collaborative, consultative and customer-oriented approach
12. Good written and communication skill
13. Prior working experience with a Core Banking System (CBS)
14. Background in microfinance, banking, accounting and/or IT
