We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Site Safety Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 2 months

Overview

• A construction company needs the service of a Site Safety Officer for a two month project.
• The Safety Officer will be responsible for facilitating compliance with Occupational Safety guidelines on site

Responsibilities

• Ensure workers practice safe working techniques
• Carryout toolbox meeting, pep talk and induction
• Conduct an assessment of possible risk and ensure preventive measures are taken
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify non-conformity
• Recommend appropriate protective equipment workers should wear while carrying out their tasks
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in related fields
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Familiarity with Construction site
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Safety procedures and processes
• ISPON Level 3
• Preferred candidate should be resident in Ikeja or its environ.

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
