Job Position: Warehouse Manager

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

 Responsibilities 

• Warehouse managers have to manage everything in the warehouse; from the goods that are stored to the people working in them
• They have to keep a track of the goods and their delivery dates, especially if the goods are of perishable nature
• They also have to manage the accounts of the warehouse
• They have to interview and hire people to work in the warehouse, and ensure that they get proper training
• The managers have to also promote the warehouse and increase business for it, so more companies chose to employ their warehouse for storage purposes
• They have to ensure that all safety standards are met
• Warehouse managers have to coordinate with the logistic managers of the companies employing ensuring the delivery of goods on time

Basic Requirements

• They need to have a bachelor's degree in Management or Commerce.
• Must have a Minimum qualification of HND/BSC a master degree will be an added advantage.
• They also need to have some experience working in warehouses
• The Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse management and administration
