Management Profile

MRS. M. A. FAYOMI

Mrs Fayomi heads the Advisory Board of SMART Advisory Limited. She completed the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the United Kingdom in June 1967 and was admitted as an Associate Member on July 1972. She moved to the Fellowship cadre in January 1980. Mrs Fayomi was admitted an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1976 and became a Fellow in 1990.

She has issued a Licence to Practice in July 1977. Mrs Fayomi is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. From 1967 to 1969, whilst still in the United Kingdom, Mrs Fayomi worked with firms of Chartered Accountants. On her return to Nigeria, she was employed as an Accountant by the Western Nigerian Development Corporation, from which Western State Industrial and Investment Credit Corporations (WSIICC) and Western State Agricultural Investment Corporation (WSAIC) were created.

Mrs Fayomi was assigned to WSIICC and rose to the post of an Assistant Controller of Accounts before she resigned her appointment in January 1976 to join her husband in Lagos.

Mrs Fayomi was employed by the firm of Messrs Olatunde Ayoola & Co. Chartered Accountants as a Manager in February 1976 and was there until 1979 when she resigned to set up her practice – ADEDOLAPO FAYOMI & CO. Mrs Fayomi has vast experience in all facets of the Accountancy practice. She is the Shepherd in charge of C & S Movement Church, Surulere District, Ojodu Branch, and Lagos.

ADEMOLA ADEYINKA

Ademola Adeyinka trained as an investment banker and has over 25 years of work experience in the financial services industry. His major strength is in the structuring of financial solutions to provide bespoke options to meet clients’ needs. He has a passion for teaching, developing and nurturing talents through coaching and mentoring and has facilitated several seminars on finance, leadership, personal effectiveness, emotional intelligence, negotiation, sales and many more.

He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria where he holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He also holds an MBA Finance from the same institution. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and London Business School where he studied for Senior Management Program and Corporate Finance respectively. He has equally attended several intensive programs within and outside Nigeria including Leadership Development Program at the prestigious Harvard Business School and General Management Program at Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, the two institutions that contributed significantly to his passion for coaching and mentoring.


His experience in banking spans Financial Control, Operations, Public Sector, Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, International Finance, Treasury, Asset & Wealth Management and Business Development in Intercontinental Bank Plc. where he held the position of Treasurer of the bank from 1999 to 2005. He played various leading roles in the management of the Bank and was a major player in all the recapitalization programmes of the Bank and the development of the Bank’s relationship with leading International Financial Institutions, Multilateral Agencies and Private Equity Firms before he retired in 2009 to join other entrepreneurs to set up S.M.A.R.T. Advisory Limited, a business and financial advisory firm dedicated to helping its clients fulfil their business objectives through its array of service which includes corporate finance, turnaround management, asset management, market and industry research as well as HR consulting.

He is a public speaker, a public policy analyst with a keen interest in personal professional development, good governance, social engineering and development.

ADERIBIGBE ISAAC OLUWASEUN

Mr Aderibigbe is a member of the Advisory Board as well as Legal Adviser of SMART Advisory Limited. He attended Baptist Academy, Lagos and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he graduated with a BL in Law before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos for his LL.B.

Mr Aderibigbe also attended The Redeemed Christian Bible College where he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Theology. He has a Professional Diploma of CEDR from the Institute of Mediation, CAM from the Institute of Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation and Associate of CIARB.

He has worked and headed different Law Chambers including Oladapo Iwalowo & Co, Bayo Qluko Olokun (SAN), C.Associate Partner, Olatunbosun & Co. He was appointed as the Legal Adviser, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, 2002-2007. He is currently the Principal Partner, Seun Aderibigbe & Co. (Legal Practitioners).

ADEGBOYEGA ADEBUKUNOLA

Gboyega Adebukunola is an accomplished Chartered Accountant with over 24 years’ experience spanning the financial, construction, consultancy and pharmaceutical industries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 and became a fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2005. He is also an associate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as a Certified Project Manager (PMP).

He has at various points, nurtured and managed varied multi-million naira projects crisscrossing Software implementation, Risk Management framework implementation, Data clean up, Due Diligence f

for Mergers & Acquisition, SOX certification and BPR. Before joining SMART Advisory as of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he was the CIO (Chief Information Officer) at Wema Bank Plc. He has excellent risk management, trade finance, treasury, financial analysis and credit analysis skills and good ability to dimension and propose solutions to mitigate risks involved in complex transactions.

MRS. ENIITAN OBASAN

Mrs Obasan holds a Second Class Upper Credit degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. She also holds the final certificate of the Institute of Accounting Technicians (an ICAN Establishment) and was admitted as a member in 1999.

Mrs Obasan completed the professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN) in November 2002 and was admitted an associate member in November 2005. Mrs Obasan has worked in various capacities handling audits and taxation.

ADEMOLA ADEYINKA

Ademola Adeyinka, an investment banker with over 20 years of experience in banking. Mr Adeyinka has a passion for teaching, developing and nurturing talents. He facilitated several training programs especially for entry-level personnel while at the bank. He has handled different soft skills training and coaching for several organisations. He is widely travelled and has participated in many international conferences. He is married with 3 lovely children.


KAYODE O. OYEBODE (FCIPM MNITAD)

Kayode holds a B.A. (Hons) in English/Philosophy from the University of Lagos, Akoka (1981). He is a member of Council and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and member Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD). He joined UAC of Nigeria Plc. in1982 as a Management Trainee and his work span across several business units/subsidiaries of the Group.

His 22 year cross-functional experience in the Group included Human Resources, Marketing and Sales functions in various capacities as Personnel Manager, Divisional Personnel Director, Company Recruitment and Development Manager, Company Training and Development Manager, Area Manager, Ag Group Head of Human Resources, Divisional Bread Director and Vehicle Marketing Manager before he left the conglomerate in June 2004 to run his own Human Capital Management, Training & Leadership Solutions outfit as Managing Partner/CEO from 1 July 2004.

In Feb 2006, he was invited by Intercontinental Bank Plc to head the HR and Administration as Group Executive. In Feb 2009, he moved to the Marketing function and was appointed Regional Business Controller Lagos Island, a job he did for 7 months before he resigned his appointment in December 2009 to return to his Human Capital Management outfit.

Kayode is a great motivator, an extrovert, an amiable team player, trainer and effective communicator. He has run consultancy and training programs for various organizations and also participated in the running of various annual seminars and conferences for various organizations and handled papers on Leadership, Team-working, Attitude and other inspirational topics. These include Grand Oak Limited formerly Nigeria Distilleries Ltd, Nigeria Bag Manufacturing Company (Bagco), UAC Properties Ltd, MDS Logistics Ltd etc. He has also participated in various career counselling chats and Mock Interviews with MBA Students of the Lagos Business School.

AKISANYA, ARAMIDE (MS)

Ms Akinsanya is the founder of Kuhl-Cher, a training and consulting outfit which she started two years ago out of a passion and desire to see talent nurtured creatively in organizations. She is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos with an MBA from the Lagos Business School, Pan African University. She also attended Queen’s College Lagos where she was head girl.

Aramide started her career in Merchant Banking Corporation (which was acquired by First Bank of Nigeria) and later moved to Intercontinental Bank Plc where she was at various times branch service head and received formal recognition as the best operations head for Lagos Island in 2006. She was responsible for service delivery and efficient running of the branch. She also worked in the Corporate Finance Group, Commercial Banking Group as well as the Corporate Banking Division of Intercontinental Bank Plc.


She managed accounts of companies in the Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors where she was responsible for turnover, income generation and performance of credit facilities availed to customers. She displayed her love for training and development by facilitating in-house training at the branches and head office of Intercontinental Bank. She also provided counselling to colleagues to motivate and help them cope with change.

Aramide is highly passionate about customer service and the pursuit of professionalism at the workplace. She possesses extensive knowledge of organizational behaviour, both academically and experientially.

BOYE FALONIPE

Boye Falonipe is the Principal Consultant at NOIR ENHANCEMENT, a Business Image and Protocol Consulting firm in Lagos, Nigeria where he trains and consults for individuals and corporate clients on building and sustaining an effective image, one that increases their presence and improves public perception. His areas of expertise include corporate appearance, business communication, and etiquettes. The firm works with a network of consultants and strategic partners to help progressive people demolish social obstacles on their way to the top of a career and personal life.

Boye is a passionate leader and an excellent communicator. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria and member of Association of Image Consultants International. He loves reading, driving country music and sanitation. He is the author of “Succeeding with Appearance in Business ad Career”, a book that simplifies and instructs on getting jobs and sealing deals just by looking good.

VIOLA AKHIGBE

Viola is master of communication who holds a Bachelor of Arts (Education) degree in English from University of Lagos, Nigeria, graduating with the Vice Chancellor’s Prize as the Faculty Best Student, amongst several other awards. She holds a Master of Education in English Language programme from the same institution. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit & Collection Management (ICCM) Nigeria, where she also serves as a member of the Executive Council.

She consults for forward-thinking organizations, shares her professional insights in several media outfits including the print media. She facilitates personal professional development programs for executives and group programmes. Viola’s wealth of experience spans HRM, Business Development, Relationship Management, Project Management and Administration in different sectors of the economy which includes banking, real estate, education and NGOs.



She was at different times a service champion when she worked in the bank and a member of the mystery shopping review committee.

AUSTIN ANYAOGU

Austin is a professional business advisor with significant experience in diverse sectors of the economy. His experience spans audit, accounting & finance, project management, business development and consulting and he has over 20 years of working experience cutting across different sectors.

He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied Accounting. He is a Fellow Member (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN, Fellow Member (ACE) The Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria (ICEN and Associate Member (AMNIM) Nigerian Institute of Management. Austin work experience started with Uloko Thomas & Co, a firm of chartered accountants where he was Senior Consultant, Tax & Business Advisory. He also worked with TRANSCON GROUP, Group Internal Auditor and he later moved on to become the Project Accountant of INDEV Group (Managers of Niger gas Ltd). He became the Chief Accountant of Air Liquide Nig. Plc.

In 1998, joined Standard Trust Bank Plc. (Now UBA) where he started his banking experience. His banking experience spans Diamond Bank Plc., Diamond Mortgages Ltd (Subsidiary of Diamond Bank Plc.) where he was Divisional Head, Finance and Operations and later FinBank Plc. where he retired to start up his private practice.

Austin’s area of expertise covers setting up internal audit system, fraud detection, investigation and report writing to the management/board for actions and resolutions, financial and tax audits, policy formulation on both Finance and Operations, budget preparation and implementation, financial advisory, project management, due diligence, restructuring and divestment of projects. He is an astute trainer as he has facilitated different training programs Fraud Detection and Investigation, Anger Management, Accounting for Non-Accountants, Financial Audit and Reconciliation, Customer Service, Selling Skills for Effective Marketing etc.

ROTIMI BALOGUN

Rotimi graduated with Honours in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, Akoka. Rotimi is an accredited and certified Sales Trainer at Centum Learning. A Learning and Development arm of the Bharti Group, India. He has trained with Nokia Academy for 5 years. Rotimi has over 8 years of varied experience in Training and Development, Retail Sales, Channel Development and Key Account Management. He has been involved in the design and delivery of several training programs to enhance skills of the human capital of numerous organizations from entry to Senior Management levels.



He has also been involved in gap analysis, development of competency frameworks, and identification and selection of personnel for entry-level to mid-level positions in some leading companies in various sectors: Telecommunications, Banking and Finance, Transportation and Agriculture. He specializes in all aspects of Sales and Customer Service.

ADORABLE AGBENLA

Aderenle Agbenla is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute Of Personnel And Development (CIPD) and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management specialising in Employee Development and Engagement from the Middlesex University Business School, London UK, also she is Prince2 certified. She is a graduate of Lagos State University where she earned her BSc degree in Chemical and Polymer Engineering.

Her work experience was gained from House of Lords, Houses of Parliament UK, Projects International Travel and Tourism Institute (ITTI) Ghana and Workforce Management Center Lagos, where she held various positions as an advisor, consultant and assistant. She was responsible for contract and stakeholder management, procurement of learning, design and delivery of staff development or management development programmes, strong operational management, project management,
employee recruitment and financial management.

She is a skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skill, passionate about all things Learning and Development, she loves providing administrative support to charities, reading, dancing, visiting street markets and writing short articles.
