Job Title: Secretarial Administrative Assistant
Locations: Lagos, Abuja & Port Harcourt

Job Description

  • We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities


  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Skills and Qualification

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • BSc. Holder; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

 

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • We are looking for a qualified Accountant to handle prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
  • Develop periodic reports for management
  • Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
  • Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups
  • Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
  • Prepare budget and financial forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close process
  • Collect, analyze and summarize account information

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 years working experience as an Accountant or in a relevant field
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
  • Excellent accounting software user
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Advanced Degree in Accounting.

 

Job Position: Civil Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Main Functions

  • Considered an expert in Civil Engineering. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team’s goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Provides instructions and guidelines to lower level personnel.
  • Works with limited to no supervision.
  • Primary job functions typically require exercising independent judgment.
  • Typically reports to Senior level Management.
  • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
  • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work products
  • Coordination and communication of various issues among the company’s and contractor’s engineering team that affect the discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work
  • Participate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor’s and subcontractor’s locations
  • Drives and promotes capital efficiency in engineering design
  • Support internal engineering general interest or Global Practice initiatives as requested by Supervisor.
  • Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of discipline design drawings and documents
  • Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to Company procedures; maintains Deviation Control Log.
  • Steward discipline engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests
  • Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of closely related professional experience
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria

 

Job Position: Business Development Executive
Job Location: Abuja

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for developing business with key clients in the midstream, downstream and petrochemical sectors of the Oil and Gas industry with significant potential to become a major contributor to the growth and profitability of the Company.

Job Requirements
The applicant must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or relevant degree from accredited program from a reputable university.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) preferred.
  • Experience and contacts in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Minimum 10 years business development experience in the specific industry of focus.
