McDon Security is a Nigerian Registered and Licenced Private company with Head Office in Lagos and Operations Offices in Abuja, Asaba and Port Harcourt. McDon provides security services to individuals, businesses and other clientele.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Account Officer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
• Processing invoices.
• Organize and update financial records.
• Treasury management.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist senior accounts in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
• Compute, process and file payroll documents
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Requirements

• BSc in Accounting
• Excellent organizing abilities.
• Great attention to detail
• Great numerical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
