Pentagon Real Estate Investment Limited is a privately owned company incorporated on 6th February 2007 with the objective of providing Real Estate services to individuals and corporate bodies. It commenced business shortly after incorporation and has its head office at Suite E68, Ikota Shopping Complex, VGC, Lekki Peninsula, Lagos State. The Company is managed by professionals with several years of training and experience both in Nigeria and abroad.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Account Officer

Job Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: The Financial Controller

Job Purpose

• To help in keeping financial records up-to-date, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial records.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
• Checking invoices
• Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable
• Tracking organization expenses
• Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
• Contacting clients about transactions and invoices
• Handling queries related to accounts.
• Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns, complete financial tax transactions

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• -Should have knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Detail-oriented and maintain accurate financial records
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work well within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and sage.
• Organized and have strong technical and math skills.
• Proximity to the location is key.

Salary Range
N80,000 N100,000 / month.
