Job Overview


  • As the Administrative Accountant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team while also managing the financial records and accounts.
  • This is a multifaceted role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate appointments and meetings, and maintain calendars for senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and property databases.
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  • Assist in making travel arrangements for staff when required.
  • Ensure that all client information and interactions are properly documented.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
  • Provide support with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Generate and send invoices to clients and tenants, and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for review by senior management.
  • Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Record and categorize company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with tax preparation and ensure adherence to tax regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Degree or equivalent on Accounting / Business Administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in both administrative and accounting roles respectively.Experience in real estate accounting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Applicants must live around Chevron & Ajah.

Salary

  • N100,000 monthly.
