Job Position: Asset Manager

Job Summary
- The Asset manager shall serve as the strategic and commercial lead for designated upstream and midstream assets.
- The role is responsible for maximizing asset value, production efficiency, and profitability while ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- The Asset Manager will integrate technical, financial, and operational disciplines to deliver sustainable asset performance and long-term return on investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
- MSc in Engineering or MBA will be added advantage
- Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CPA/ACCA, PMP, or equivalent will be preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in upstream/midstream asset management or oil & gas operations
- Strong financial modelling and budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX) skills
- Proven ability to assess investment potential and drive profitability
- Experience managing acquisitions, financing, and asset disposition
- Solid understanding of HSE and asset integrity standards
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability
- Ability to increase revenue streams and optimize asset performance
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Act as the business lead for assigned upstream and midstream assets.
- Develop and execute asset-specific operational and commercial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control expertise.
- Ability to assess investment potential and risk-return profile.
- Knowledge of upstream and midstream operations and commercial structures.
- Seasoned decision-maker with sound commercial judgment.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability.
- Exceptional presentation and relationship management skills.
- High integrity, accountability, and results orientation.
- Ability to build cohesive teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Blend of technical competence, commercial acumen, and leadership presence.
