We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Backend Developer

Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3 Months

Job Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop backend services using Node.js (NestJS/Express)
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Implement secure authentication and role-based access control.
• Integrate system-wide audit logging.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with the frontend team to define API requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js (NestJS/Express)
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, database modelling, and optimization.
• Experience with Docker, microservices, and cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Ability to deliver clean, well-documented, well-tested code.
