Job Description


  • Business Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing operations in the company, implement strategies to ensure productivity while also evaluating how well the business performed on various tasks within a specific time frame in a strategic and influential way to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting profits and forging strong relationships with clients.

Job Description
General Oversight:

  • Supervise and manage the site management team liaising with and working alongside sales team, project/production team,  and subcontractors.
  • Share the responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resource
  • Foster and cultivate good client relationships 
  • Support the CEO or executive team’s vision and process ideals.
  • Support all functions of the business to work together.
  • Work closely with internal auditor on accurate book keeping, inventory management  and financial management.

Project:

  • Monitor and supervise the execution process on site to ensure completion of the job within specified times frames, in an organized and cost effective manner.
  • Examine the drawings, assess the material requirements, approve and confirm the material requisition accurately.
  • Apply designs and plans to mark out the site and involve in projects ranging from small scale to mega scale.
  • Examine each project and based on the schedules mentioned assess the material and manpower requirements for each project.
  • Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or the design team
  • Prepare and forward the requisition of sub-contractors required for different jobs to the right authority for approval.
  • Coordinate during the spot checks on the site and ensure adherence to Quality, Health and Safety regulations on all assigned sites.
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Sales:

  • Oversee the merchandising of products across all outlets
  • Directs, oversees, monitors, and evaluates the activities of a small team of full-time sales staff.
  • Provides market research and analysis; prepares research-based reports and sales forecasts for management.
  • Develops and manages annual sales and operating budgets, and regularly monitors performance to budget parameters.
  • Develops, and implements an integrated range of marketing concepts and methodologies; plans and develops marketing and sales strategies consistent with the overall goals and objectives of the business.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of design or architecture.
  • 4 - 8 years of working experience. Experience in a retail interior design company is an added advantage. 
  • Ability to run multiple projects 
  • Ability to fairly manage subcontractors while maintaining a team relationship and productive work environment
  • Understand the design process and fully comprehend the client’s needs and goals
  • Extensive knowledge of design intent and practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership skills to supervise multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed time management and project management skills required to undertake multiple projects
  • Professional, client service oriented and positive representative of the firm
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
