Arnergy is a distributed utility providing energy reliability to SMEs and economic clusters in emerging market with flexible acquisition options including energy Subscription (ES) based on monthly fixed fee, consumer financed Lease to Own (LO) with monthly instalment or a Outright Sales (OS) option. Arnergy is on track to deploy excess of 100 Megawatt installed PV capacity powering more than 35,000 businesses across impact sectors not limited to Healthcare, Education, Hospitality by 2023. Responsibilities

• Ensures the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) that support corporate strategic objective.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the firm’s balance sheet to optimize liquidity, cash flow, and leverage. Assess and evaluate financial performance of the organization against these strategic plans, and provide insight and recommendations to incorporate both short term and long-term growth plan of organization into strategic plan
• Establishes and maintains internal control over financial reporting to ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards and all regulatory requirements.
• Provides critical financial and operational decision support information and makes actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations with risk mitigation.
• Ensures the accuracy, completeness, integrity and appropriate disclosure of financial statements and other financial information through appropriate policies and procedures.
• Provides accurate reporting on KPI, Unit economics,COGS, Inventory & margins.
• Improve existing financial models, updating projections on a regular basis.
• Manages cash flow & forecasting through a reliable cash flow projection process & reporting mechanism including minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
• Creating projections vs. actuals variance reports, comparing new to old projections.
• Foster good relationship with organization leadership, Board members, investment managers, existing and prospective financing partners.
• Provide regular updates on the Company’s financial status to the Board of Director.
• Provide monthly and quarterly report & present alongside CEO at board meetings.
• Support the CEO and existing investors in future equity and debt round raises.
• Lead strategic finance strategies by exploring financing sources like equipment trade finance, export credit agencies,trade finance investors, Development Finance Institutions, Impact investors, climate funds, currency hedging facilities and lenders

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 10 years working experience as CFO of a fast growing company with over US$50m turnover.
• Western and Nigeria work experience with multinational firm(s).
• CFA/Ivy league MBA with superior financial & regulatory reporting understanding.
• Proven track record of providing financial leadership and aligning business and finance strategy to deliver profitable growth.
• Be deeply knowledgeable about electronic product development, mobile telecommunication, Consumer financing and/of equipment leasing.
• Strong track record of closing equity and debt investment round(s) with reputable investors and Development Finance Institutions.
• Strong experience and appreciation of currency hedging and optimal portfolio currency mix.
• An expert level skills on financial modelling with right capital size and capital mix for efficient working capital strategy.
• Proven ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders.
• Highly collaborative approach across function, influencing in a matrix organization.
• Experience handling administrative duties not limited to payroll and benefits.
