We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Civil Engineer - Project Site Activities
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction of industrial buildings, equipment foundations, silos, tanks, utility structures, roads, drains, and landscaping.
• Review and interpret civil and structural drawings; coordinate with consultants for necessary modifications.
• Prepare BOQs, material requirements, and ensure quality control of construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel).
• Create and edit AutoCAD drawings as needed.
• Monitor contractor performance, labor management, and daily site progress.
• Ensure civil works are executed in line with engineering standards and project timelines.
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams for equipment erection and trench alignments.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, and progress records.
• Enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Assist in vendor/contractor evaluation and certification.
• Support timely project commissioning by ensuring civil works are completed as scheduled.

Requirements

• Age: Maximum 35 years
• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in civil project execution within process industries
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Knowledge of structural design, RCC, steel structures, foundation works, and industrial buildings
• Strong site execution and contractor supervision skills
• Familiarity with Nigerian civil engineering standards and site safety practices
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
