The Rivers State University Port Harcourt was established in October, 1980 from the Rivers State College of Science and Technology which was itself established in 1972. It is located at Nkpolu-Oroworukwo in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, Nigeria.

Qualifications

• ND/OND in the relevant field plus at least 2 years relevant post-qualification experience with an evidence of Microsoft certification.
• 3 Subjects at a sitting at the GCE A/L plus at least 4 years relevant experience with an evidence of Microsoft certification.

Conditions of Service
Successful candidates will be required to assume duty as soon as possible and will be on probation for the first two (2) years. Other conditions are similar to those obtaining in other institutions of higher learning in Nigeria.
