Job Description
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be an active contributor with other engineering disciplines in the field specific to electrical work scope of the project

Major Responsibilities

• Supervision of field construction activities according to the specified design drawings, in line with standard design practices.
• Plan wiring and installation of equipment such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, fuse boxes etc.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, installation of equipment at the field locations in a safe manner in line with relevant maintenance procedures
• Train, coach and mentor electrical personnel under his leadership
• Analyze data and generate situation report for electrical activities on site
• Supervise electrical works carried out with the competence to provide training
• Perform installation and troubleshooting of electrical installations. (Interprets specifications, blueprints, job orders to workers and assign duties
• Estimates, request and inspect electrical materials

Qualification and Personal Attributes

• Must be in possession of a minimum B.Eng or HND from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering with not less than 5 years post NYSC practical experience in Oil and Gas Construction
• A post graduate would be an added advantage
• Registration with COREN, NSE or other recognized engineering professional bodies will be an added advantage
• Must be ready to work for long hours and under pressure to meet deadlines
