We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Farm Manager

Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Buying and rearing young fish.
• Day to day management Of chickens, handling Of layers and egg production
• Sprayers for hydroponics and greenhouse.perform duties such as feeding, vaccinating poultry, cleaning and disinfecting/fumigating chicken houses.
• Managing water quality by using ultraviolet light purification method.
• Maintaining the farm activities in agreement with the bud- geted parameters
• Experienced in raising/managing day old chicks.
• Planting, transplanting, weeding, watering and caring for plants in a greenhouse and irrigation system.
• Reporting fish care issues and conducting research related to plant growth and cultivation methods to improve current practices.
• Planting new plants, seeds, bulbs, or other items in pots or trays, often using specialized tools such as pruning shears or
• Strict compliance to farrns standards and policies e.g. health, safety, product quality, property and asset management and environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Agricultural Science
• Extension, Agronomy, Animal Science/production or any of the Biological Sciences.

Experience:

• 1 - 3 years of farm experience.
• Experience in feed formulation and poultry processing is an added advantage.
