About the Role


  • WDCL is seeking a seasoned and strategic General Manager, Administration, to lead its administrative operations.
  • This executive-level role demands a professional who can oversee company-wide administrative structures, facilities, asset management, logistics, and compliance - while driving efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage administrative departments, including facility management, fleet/logistics, security, and general services.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative policies, systems, and processes across the company.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in admin operations.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, lease agreements, service-level agreements, and renewals.
  • Supervise support services across all project sites and offices.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, HSE, and Procurement to align administrative functions with company goals.
  • Manage high-level correspondence, travel logistics, and executive support systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in administrative leadership roles, preferably in the oil & gas or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Must reside in Lagos (Island) or demonstrate a firm relocation plan.
