Job Description


  • The General Manager will lead Client Investments’ strategic and operational management across its investment portfolio.
  • The role requires a high-performing executive with deep knowledge of cross-sectoral investment practices, particularly in hospitality, financial services, and the petroleum upstream industry.
  • The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of all Client business units, ensuring strategic alignment with Rainoil Group objectives.
  • Lead the execution of investment strategies and portfolio management, including M&A, JV partnerships, and divestments.
  • Coordinate the development and execution of the Asaba Hotel Development project and other hospitality ventures.
  • Supervise financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and operational audits.
  • Identify and assess new investment opportunities in energy, finance, and hospitality sectors.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and ESG adherence across sectors.
  • Report to the board with operational and financial insights, project updates, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in investment management, energy, or real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigeria’s investment landscape, hospitality market, and upstream petroleum regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
