Job Position: Hotel Supervisor

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments.
• Lead and motivate the hotel staff to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high levels of morale and productivity.
• Ensure that all guest interactions reflect our commitment to excellence and contribute to a positive and memorable experience.
• Monitor and maintain hotel facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed expectations and resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage teams to coordinate seamless operations and uphold brand standards.
• Manage reservation and room assignment processes to optimize occupancy and revenue.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication abilities, including proficiency in English and the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
• Working knowledge of hotel management software, reservation systems, and point-of-sale platforms.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control.
• Certification or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
