Job Position: HR Lead
Job Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • The Human Resources Lead will be responsible for leading the organisation’s people strategy by driving effective recruitment, engagement, performance, learning, and compliance practices.
  • This role will partner with leadership to build a high-performing, engaged workforce while ensuring strong HR governance and employer brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:


  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes across all roles and levels.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines.
  • Ensure fair, inclusive, and efficient hiring practices.

Employee Engagement & Retention:

  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop retention strategies to reduce attrition and improve morale.
  • Manage performance management systems and employee feedback processes.
  • Support employee wellbeing, culture, and workplace satisfaction.

Training & Development:

  • Identify skills gaps and develop learning and development programmes.
  • Implement onboarding and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning.
  • Track training effectiveness and ROI.

Communication & Interpersonal Effectiveness:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management.
  • Manage internal communication related to HR policies and initiatives.
  • Facilitate clear, transparent, and effective people communication.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.

Employer Branding:

  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
  • Strengthen the organisation’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Brand teams on talent-related messaging.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify people-related risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage audits, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Industry Knowledge & Business Alignment:

  • Maintain strong understanding of industry trends and workforce dynamics.
  • Align HR practices with business strategy and operational needs.
  • Support organisational growth, change management, and workforce planning.

Digital Literacy & HR Technology:

  • Utilise HRIS and digital tools to manage HR operations efficiently.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform people decisions.
  • Support digital transformation of HR processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, HRCI) is an advantage.
  • 4-6 years’ experience.
  • Experience in [agency / experiential / Media corporate] environments is a must.
