Job Position: Account Officer

Job Location: Asese, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

• The Account Officer will efficiently manage the financial records and transactions within the business.

Job Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct books.
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
• Prepare and process quotations and invoices.
• Manage the financial paperwork and filing system using necessary applications.
• Ensure that accounts are balanced and reconciled.
• Keep track of the income and the expenditure
• Arrange for reconciliation on debt for stores and debt recovery
• Performing other duties as required.

Job Qualification and Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 2+ years experience in a similar capacity. Experience in a factory environment is a plus.
• ICAN/ACA qualification is a plus
• Skilled in using MS Office, particularly excel, and popular accounting software such as Quickbooks.
• Good data entry skills
• Eye for detail, and high degree of accuracy
• In-depth knowledge of necessary bookkeeping procedures, best practices, and terminology.
• Ability to display a high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Must be residing close to Asese in Ogun State.
