At incorporation as a public liability company in 1978, the Company's name was changed to University Press Limited with an authorised share capital of 8,000,000 Ordinary shares of 50k each.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) IT Manager

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Plan, manage, and oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of IT staff to ensure timely support and service delivery.
• Ensure the security of IT systems through effective cybersecurity measures, data protection protocols, and backup processes.
• Oversee IT procurement and liaise with vendors, service providers, and external consultants.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
• Support the company’s digital transformation initiatives, including e-commerce and ERP platforms.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand IT needs and provide effective technical solutions.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports on system efficiency, IT performance, and project status for senior management.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualification & Required Skills

• A relevant First Degree (BSc. / HND) in Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division / Lower Credit.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in a similar position
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) or related are an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
• Experience managing or supporting ERP systems and digital platforms (including e-commerce).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a focus on service delivery and innovation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team in a dynamic environment
• Not more than 45 years of age.

2.) IT Support Officer

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Install and configure systems
• Ensure clients system works with company server
• Install applications/programs that will cause more effectiveness
• Maintain a back-up of company’s data
• Train users on all the packages in use
• Administer the computer on the local area network
• Maintain the effectiveness of all computers in use
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Qualification & Required Skills

• A relevant first degree (B.Sc. / HND) in Computer Science / Computer Engineering with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division / Lower Credit.
• At least two (2) years of post qualification experience in a similar position
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Not more than 35 years of age.

3.) Web Administrator

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• Maintain and update the company website.
• Ensure website uptime, performance, and responsiveness.
• Monitor and troubleshoot website issues; liaise with hosting service providers when needed.
• Ensure website security and perform regular backups.
• Manage domain registrations, SSL certificates, and hosting services.
• Upload, edit, and manage website content (text, graphics, and multimedia).
• Administer and monitor web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Document all changes, procedures, and updates made to the site.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Qualifications & Required Skills

• A relevant first degree (B.Sc. / HND) in Computer Science /Information Technology with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division/Lower Credit.
• Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
• Familiarity with web hosting platforms (e.g., cPanel, WHM) and domain management.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Selar) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of website accessibility and security best practices
• Not more than 35 years of age.

Truck Driver

Qualification & Required Skills

• At least First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) plus Certificate of Government Trade Test Class III in Motor Driver/Mechanic Works.
• Minimum of five (5) years driving experience; three (3) years of which must be on trucks.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Valid driving license Class "E".
• Clean driving records.
• Applicants must be resident in Ibadan.
