We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Logistics Specialist

Job Location: Lagos
Employment type: Full time

Summary


  • The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating a smooth importation process between the bank, suppliers, Logistics partners, and ATC.
  • This includes but is not limited to ensuring accurate and timely processing of importation documents, keeping track of all importation and reporting status of material ordered to the users, following up with supplier/logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of all Equipment / materials ordered and timely resolution of all non-conforming deliveries.
  • The incumbent will ensure the efficient and safe ordering and tracking of relevant equipment using internal systems.
  • The role will include equipment planning and analysis to ensure logistics process improvement, conduct facility planning, and be involved with project management.

Duties

  • Participate in meetings with Projects, Operations, and Energy departments to understand material/equipment requirements for a period as required.
  • Ensure a smooth importation process between the bank, suppliers, Logistics partners and ATC for all imported Equipment.
  • Be the focal point for all logistics-related issues/activities for ATC Nigeria
  • Develop and implement appropriate logistics management processes and procedures 
  • Establish and monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
  • Ensure a smooth clearing process of all imported Equipment/materials by effectively coordinating with the clearing agents/3PL for shipment clearance.
  • Maintains a shipping/receiving log.
  • Identify and prioritize logistics needs and communicate recommendations to upper management to achieve efficient product and supply distribution
  • Provide data and recommendations on tracking, costing, and usage alternatives
  • Actively promote and champion the use of best practices to ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures
  • Review Logistics Management procedures periodically, to ensure that they remain in line with the changing business requirements and reflect best practice.
  • Manage logistics in line with company policies and procedures and in a manner that ensures the availability of the right goods at the right place, cost, and time
  • Manage couriers/logistics providers to deliver a high level of service to both internal and external customers
  • Manages vendor/supplier relationships to ensure optimal and cost-efficient service delivery.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or Inventory Management.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Warehouse Management within Telecom industry.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Familiar with Passive Telecommunication Network Equipment.
  • Good knowledge of the Nigerian importation process
  • Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines.

2.) Manager, Power Solutions Tech and Support

Job Location: Lagos
Employment type: Full time

Summary

  • The Manager, Power Solutions Tech and Support is responsible for planning, implementation, and management of various strategic initiatives within the energy space.
  • He or She will ensure that such agreed initiatives are executed with operational effectiveness and cost efficiency through to completion, as well as alignment to the strategic and business initiatives of ATC Nigeria and ATC Africa.
  • Manager, Power Solutions Tech and Support will also be responsible for skills and knowledge transfer.

Duties

  • Compile thorough site and power audit templates and continuously update accordingly. Coordinate and manage field teams that are responsible for the site and power audits.
  • Analysis and verification of site and power audit reports received from field teams.
  • Support field teams that are responsible for power efficiency projects.
  • Support operational teams with an implementation plan to achieve the ATC Nigeria power strategy and related power efficiency projects.
  • Support the Capital Projects team to deploy top-quality power projects such as solar sites and grid connections as per the budget within agreed timelines.
  • Presenting technical recommendations to collocation tenants/amendments and ability to technically motivate and support the recommended changes. Align with business and provide support on colocation/amendments power requirements. Comprehensive power audit to ensure adequate capacity on all power infra (DG, Rectifiers, Batteries, Solar, etc.) for prospective colocation tenants and upgrades for existing partners.
  • Budgeting for power projects and any other power solutions and tracking against actuals meticulously and aligning to business objectives.
  • Play a key role in ensuring all power data is available and accurate and the various power data sources are aligned.
  • Techno-economic feasibility study for new solutions and drive for implementation
  • Responsible for implementing ATC Design specifications and standardizing accordingly across the country.
  • Ensure the development of power optimization, utility strategies, and power solutions, suitable and relevant to the market.
  • Continued reduction in Gen run hours from improvement and reactivation of OPEX devices such as hybrids, PHCN, Solar, etc. Drive the optimization programs with internal and external stakeholders. Develop a process to continuously track power efficiencies on all sites and reduce overall generator run hours.
  • Interface and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders on relevant solutions, including, manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Refurbishment of energy solutions to phase out obsolete systems to reduce power and fuel cost and improve power availability.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to power problems and assist with implementation and execution thereof. Compile a complete bill of materials (BOM) to support recommendations.
  • Provide detailed AC/DC Power Upgrade designs and solutions to support customer requirements.

  • Supervise and manage the performance of the direct reports
  • Proactively identify and resolve personnel issues in conjunction with Human Resources

Education & Experience

3.) Technical Manager, Tower Maintenance

Job Location: Lagos
Employment type: Full time

Summary

  • The Technical Manager, Tower Maintenance is responsible for managing all activities in the ATC Nigeria Tower Maintenance Program, including routine preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance (rectification), emergency maintenance, and antenna inventory management.
  • She/he is responsible for ensuring that all visible components of ATC Nigeria-owned and managed wireless communication structures (towers, mounts, foundations, buildings) are in good physical condition and free of defects that could compromise the structural integrity, functionality, or safety of the structure components.
  • The Technical Manager, Tower Maintenance communicates with internal and external customers and works to ensure the structural adequacy of all tower infrastructure.

Essential Duties

  • Monitor tower maintenance works and deliverables to ensure that maintenance contractors execute their duties in accordance with the terms of the Tower Maintenance Agreement, for both owned and managed sites.
  • Review inspection reports and photographs for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Maintenance reports should indicate that all tower components, structural and non-structural, are present, properly installed, in good condition, and functional or otherwise provide Bills of Quantities or recommendations to rectify any deficiencies.
  • Review and Bills of quantities, acceptance requests, and invoices for all tower maintenance and rectification works and ensure that works are completed within approved budgets.
  • Provide technical direction to maintenance contractors during the execution of works.
  • Work with ATC Nigeria Field Supervisors to perform periodic audits of maintenance activities and ensure that works are completed in accordance with ATC Nigeria requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify, and escalate, major risks associated with tower structures and provide risk mitigation solutions, including tower replacement.
  • Manage the tower painting program and ensure that painting meets regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the functionality of Aircraft Warning Lights, using the remote monitoring system, and ensure that all non-functioning lights are rectified promptly.
  • Monitor tower maintenance and rectification works to ensure that they are completed promptly.
  • Ensure that antenna inventory databases are up to date and that all unauthorized installations are escalated for appropriate actions.
  • Ensure that all maintenance documents are properly filed and uploaded to approved document management tools.
  • Track all tower maintenance works and provide regular status reports to the Manager, Engineering.
  • Foster and manage relationships with both internal and external customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education and Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in quality assurance and field supervision of wireless communication structures.
  • Minimum of 5 years in construction, field engineering, or rectification of wireless communications structures.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one of the following:
  • Certified to climb towers.
  • Active member of a professional organization or technical society preferred.

Competencies:

  • Experienced in installation and rectification works for tower structures.
  • Knowledge of customer’s site development and equipment installation practices.
  • Ability to drive effective negotiations in establishing agreements with contractors and customers.
  • Ability to think creatively to generate solutions by utilizing technical background to conceptualize solutions and proposals in line with customer requirements.
  • Focus on accuracy and high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed timeframes through effective prioritization of duties in a fast-paced environment.
