We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Finance Manager
Job Location: Abuja
Job Description
- The ideal candidate should be able to use relevant accounting and data analysis tools/software, communicate effectively (verbal and written), have great leadership and interpersonal skills, be great with numbers and have continuous up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and accounting government regulations.
- You will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of various accounting reports, financial statements, budgets, cost analyses, rate studies projections and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Prepare and review detailed financial analysis to illustrate key business drivers, and performance indicators, identify engagement risk and determine the appropriate financial strategies to get desired results.
- Analyse data and advise senior managers on profit-maximising strategies; help optimize company profits over time by making intelligent decisions for investments or spending funds to have the greatest return on investment.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Manage and coach an accounting team that can exhibit a great depth of the organization’s values, and culture and show continuous growth in personal, departmental and organizational development.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with other departmental Heads/Leads, other departments, outside agencies, vendors and state and federal auditors.
- Manage and oversee operations of the finance department to meet set goals and objectives.
- Developing and effectively implementing internal systems, business processes, SOPs, and organisational policies and procedures that ensure efficient and effective operations in finance.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards for corporate finance administration, budget preparation and management, financial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Display in-depth understanding and application of leading practices in governance concerning finance in the workplace.
Requirements
- MBA / M.Sc in Finance.
- At least 2 years senior management level experience in a reputable organisation with 6+ years experience as a Financial Manager
- Must have ACCA/ACA
- Deep knowledge and use of relevant finance and data reporting tools/software
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- CFA (level 2) certificate will be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in the use of MS Excel and other MS-word and G-suite tools.
Skills and Attributes:
- You have demonstrated experience in corporate finance management, startup advisory services, SME advisory, financial modeling, valuation, capital raising, and principal investing.
- You are skilled in reviewing accounting process systems and able to identify control procedures, resource needs and interdependencies.
- You are a great manager of people and can build collaboration between several teams to get the work done.
- Able to demonstrate previous experience in using extensive financial information to support executive-level decision-making; developing, and using advanced/complex financial models, and making business recommendations from the analysis of corporate financial statements
- You have a great sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
- You have strong past results in creating and implementing processes, the ability to influence adoption in the team and iterating processes based on learnings.

2.) Head of Operations
Job Location: Abuja
Job Description
- As an operations intensive business, which involves sourcing raw milk from pastoralists and transporting and delivering perishable dairy products to customers under temperature-controlled conditions, Câm is looking for a supply chain expert that is committed and passionate about our purpose, ambition, and values, and has a high degree of integrity, to help build and grow our operations.
- The role combines the need for both strategic thinking and planning, strong organisational and operations management skills, as well as the day-to-day process and people management necessary for success in a rapidly evolving environment.
- You will oversee network optimization, planning analysis, KPI reporting, allocation and support initiatives as needed,
- You will develop and drive the operations strategy for helping the business to win in the marketplace.
- You will implement effective operations that improve our operational costs and increase our customer footprint and service rating.
- You will be a confidential and trusted partner and adviser to the CEO.
- You will oversee the development of internal operations processes and work with the CEO to build our organisational culture.
- You will direct the complete spectrum of operations spanning field operations, factory operations, subcontracting & procurement, inventory & warehousing, logistics, distribution, and maintenance. You will be responsible for all field operations from farm to factory and extension support services.

Responsibilities
- Contributing to strategic decision-making, business planning, and organisational development.
- Collaborating with the CEO on setting and communicating measurable, time-bound organizational priorities, developing and managing the implementation of plans, ensuring continued alignment of resources and regularly reviewing progress on achievement in line with these priorities.
- Designing and implementing data collection systems, business processes, SOPs, and organisational policies and procedures that ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Promoting the identification and adoption of established best practices, whilst creating an environment that encourages the implementation of creative solutions.
- Building, managing and leading a supply chain operations team that effectively demonstrates Câm’s organisational culture and values.
- Engaging with and building relationships with community leaders, including pastoralists and farmers engagement
- Overseeing and ensuring the development of training content and conducting training for team members and pastoralists.
- Planning and managing raw materials, coordinating logistics and distribution of finished products (in-house and with 3PLs and fulfilment partners) with a focus on operational excellence, cost management, proactively monitoring performance and daily execution to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders and excellent customer service.
Role Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, Supply Chain, or Organizational Leadership.
- Must have a Master's Degree in a related field is a plus.
- Must have 3 years experience in senior management with stand-out performance managing high-level organisational operations, systems and people in various fields and departments and a minimum of 9 years experience in an operational role.
- Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and change management.
- Understanding of best practices in budget management and cost analysis.
- Superior communication skills - the ability to communicate/present at different organisational levels and work cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with various facets of operations: project management, planning, forecasting, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
- Experience managing dispersed teams.
- Success leading projects in different departments and functions.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Hausa (Fulfulde is a strong advantage).

3.) Factory Manager
Job Location: Abuja
Job Description
- The Factory Manager will manage and grow an existing small team and establish full-time operations seven days a week for the production and packaging of pasteurised milk, Greek-style yoghurt and other products in the pipeline.
- He/she will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of factory operations and performance.
- He/she will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner consistent with global food safety and quality standards.
- A successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, and be ready to roll up his/her sleeves and solve problems under pressure.
- He/she should be looking to take on greater responsibility in their career and have a growth mindset that will be channeled towards product innovation, sustainable packaging and rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible and accountable for all factory operations and performance aspects.
- You will oversee daily factory operations.
- Use his/her best endeavours to promote, protect, develop and extend the business of the Company.
- Ensure that the objectives of the Company are attained cost-effectively and adhere to food safety and quality standards.
- Compile and manage production plans according to Company production targets.
- Create annual and quarterly budgets for factory operations to meet Company production and performance targets.
- Prepare a periodic production report for management at the beginning of every week.
- Compile monthly reports on performance, health and food safety and budget adherence
- Ensure the accuracy of monitoring systems.
- Minimise input, packaging, and finished product waste to near-zero levels.
- Optimise fixed and overhead costs (labour and energy) against demand forecast and production requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data collection and recording for compilation of reports and documentation.
- Maximise capacity utilisation following the Company's strategic targets.
- Create and manage preventative maintenance programs for all factory equipment.
- Plan and implement changes required for new product manufacturing, ensuring minimum disruption to existing operations.
- Maintain food safety, manufacturing and quality systems including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health Safety and Environment (HSE).
- Ensure continuous compliance with food safety, manufacturing and quality regulations and best practices
- Manage, oversee and coordinate shifts, production line operators, lab technicians and other required personnel.
- Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with Field Operations, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Maintenance & Distribution and Sales & Marketing Departments to ensure efficient operations and delivery of excellent customer service.
- Work with the People and Culture department to plan annual human resource capacity and development needs, and fill vacancies according to Company policies by using competency-based recruitment methodologies.
- Build, train and grow a young and inexperienced team at Câm’s new factory and establish seven days a week operations for the production and packaging of dairy products.
- Personify, promote and maintain company values, team motivation and morale.
- Diligently exercise such powers and perform such duties as may from time to time be assigned to him/her by the Company together with such person or persons as the Company may appoint to act jointly with him/her.
- Develop routine training programs in collaboration with the People & Culture team.
- Comply with all reasonable and lawful directions given by the Company.
- Train and, where necessary, cause the training of a Nigerian member of his/her team to ensure that such member can step into his/her role as Factory Manager within twelve to eighteen months of assuming the role.
- Perform any other duties as may be necessary or desirable for the achievement of the above duties or any of them and any other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the Company from time to time.
Role requirements
- Degree in Food Technology / Science or related field, including Food Engineering, Packaging, Business or Production Facilities.
- International experience in dairy manufacturing.
- Food Safety certification (e.g. HACCP, SQF, GMP, ISO 22000).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and G Suite.
- Experience using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements for food processing factories, including NAFDAC regulations
- Knowledge of dairy processing equipment and troubleshooting.
