We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Junior Engineer

Job Location: Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of a junior engineer in real estate is to support the design and development process of new building construction and retrofits.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop or implement engineering solutions to assist clients with improving and maintaining their infrastructure
  • Arrange and lead high-impact client meetings, presentations, and capability demonstrations.
  • Design facility or structures (as appropriate) using computer assisted designs or drawing tools
  • Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment or labour to determine project feasibility
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings or other topographical or geologic data
  • Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess potential project impact
  • Perform all design activities ensuring compliance with environmental safety or other governmental regulations 
  • Identify environmental risks and develop risk management strategies for projects.
  • Provide technical advice to clients regarding design, construction or program modifications.
  • Support field activities of construction inspection staff including providing timely data, shop drawing review and client coordination.
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality as the job entails
  • Carry out any other responsibility that may be assigned to you from time to time by your supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
