Job Position: Operations Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Roles


  • Provide Administrative support to the office.
  • Have sound unstanding of public procurement and government bidding process.
  • Handle general inquiries and requests for information and materials via email, mail and/or phone.
  • Liaise with service providers, external organizations.
  • Make travel plans for all staff on airport pick/drop off and accommodation arrangements.
  • Provide operational support (car hire, airport transfers, pickup/drop off arrangements and assignment of communication tools).
  • Assist in organizing events and corporate hospitality functions, using time and resource management skills to achieve smooth implementation.
  • Log in and update the movement schedule of every staff using the office vehicle or a car hire at any given time.
  • Process payments by generating goods received notes and payment requests for all office/operational activities, services rendered and completed by vendor.
  • Maintain, monitor and update electronic filing systems; staff contact list, staff birthdays, photographs and ID numbers as well as hard copy files- Purchase requests, staff travels requests, mails/waybills, payment registers.
  • Support with drafting of Official letters and MEMO’s as directed.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and inventory management, as needed.
  • Maintain employee telephone lists
  • Provide assistance with inventory management as needed.
  • Supervise the office cleaners to ensure tidy facilities and environment.
  • Support with managing Drivers.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Business Administration, or related field is desired.

Job Position: Front Desk Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • The answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk. (Monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs

Requirements

Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Roles

  • The Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the finance activities of the company and all associated or affiliated companies, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations.
  • The Finance Manager must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. They must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgment.
  • Suitable candidates should also have excellent financial reconciliatory skills and experience in managing time-bound rolling commitments.
  • The staff must be capable to take full responsibility for the following duties; either performing this him/herself or in a supervising role: Bookkeeping and monthly reporting under IFRS in line with deadlines. Analysing actual versus budgeted results (in general and for events) and providing advice to the general manager, senior management, and the board on possible improvements
  • Preparing all monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax reports and ensuring that necessary filings and payments are done on time
  • Perform treasury function including handling and controlling of payments to vendors and handling of cash
  • Perform monthly staff payroll/ tax deductions and all related calculations
  • Perform Weekly /monthly bank reconciliations
  • Supervising and performing monthly or end year stock takings/inventory valuation where applicable
  • Setting up and maintaining policies and procedures including requirements on controls and documentation for management
  • Managing the external audit and ensuring that it is completed on time
  • Managing the company assets register.
  • Ensuring that insurance cover for all assets is adequate and are in line with organizational requirements
  • Working with team members and general manager to complete any other duties as may be required
  • Demonstrate understanding of the process workflow related to work requests from initiation through completion.
  • Consistently demonstrating teamwork dynamics by working as a team member; understanding individual and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
  • Filing of PAYE annual returns Perform all other assigned projects as assigned by the Managing Director

Qualifications

  • Academic Qualification - M.Sc / B.Sc / BA in Finance, Accounting or Economics with a Professional Certificate: Chartered Institute Of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
  • Experience - 5 years’ experience as an accountant.
  • Great knowledge of accounting systems (Access Dimensions, Quick Books, SAGE, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of internal control principles, operational risk evaluation

Abilities:

  • Must be thorough, detail-oriented, organized, and versatile whilst at the same time having a service mindset and non-compromising integrity. We expect candidates to have a strong background in finance and tax as well as an understanding of the specifics of the energy service industry generally.
  • Ability and willingness to work extra hard to ensure that all necessary tasks and reports are prepared on time and meeting the high-quality standards
  • Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Schedules on the Sage 50 Accounting software
  • Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team

Job Position: Information Technology Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical set-up and needed support on all IT related issues, including installation and testing of workstations, printers, client software, upgrades, and configuration
  • Implement and document network operations, processes, and procedures
  • Deploy and implement office network
  • Serve as the office Network Administrator
  • Identify and solve possible problems in the network
  • Supervise installations performed by third parties such as cabling, Internet connection, etc.
  • Supervise and follow-up on equipment maintenance performed by other contractors
  • Support and troubleshoot users in the Abuja office on their daily work
  • Implement and enforce security on the network and prevent misuse of the IT resources
  • Participate in writing IT office policy
  • Responsible for IT inventory; work closely with the admin team to monitor distribution and location of IT equipment by performing a yearly inventory check-up
  • Set up, implement, and maintain hardware firewall
  • Keep the network healthy by applying all required security patches and monitoring the correct delivery of all antivirus updates
  • Coordinate with Creative/DC IT support staff to identify and troubleshoot problems

Requirements

  • University Degree in Information Technology or related field is highly preferred.
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with international organizations in an IT capacity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
