Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro Allied & Food Industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry industry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar,custard powder and Chocolate Drink for the Nigerian market.

The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, extraction, refining, packaging and distribution of a wide range of premium products. In response to environmental concerns, we have installed solar panels to partially power the plant on solar energy, also we have a state of the art effluent treatment plant to treat and reuse the water discharged during the various production processes.

We have created strong brands such as Laziz Oil, Winner Soya Oil, Active Oil, La Mayo Mayonnaise, Laziz Ketchup, Laziz Salad Cream, Laziz Thousand Island, Laziz Vinegar, Laziz Custard, Laziz Chocolate Drink, A1 Soya Bean Meal, A1 Soya Lecithin, HI Pro Concentrate and HI Pro Feed.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Coordinator

Job Locations: Abuja (FCT), Enugu, Kano, and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Description

• Apple and Pears Limited is seeking proactive and highly organized Logistics Coordinators to oversee and manage day-to-day logistics operations across our locations in Port Harcourt, Enugu, Abuja, and Kano.
• The ideal candidates will ensure the smooth flow of goods, timely delivery, efficient documentation, and effective communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Coordinating dispatch, delivery schedules, and distribution activities.
• Ensuring accurate documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of logistics operations.
• Tracking shipments and resolving delays or operational issues promptly.
• Liaising with suppliers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and clients to ensure seamless workflow.
• Monitoring inventory levels and supporting warehouse operations as required.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, operational standards, and safety procedures.
• Providing timely updates to management on logistics performance and challenges.
• Supporting process improvements to optimize logistics efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic logistics/ERP software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to resume on short notice.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
