Peridot Forte Solutions Consulting Limited - Our client in the Haulage industry requires the service of a qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Manager
Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned fleet's operations and make reports on fleet performance and other operational activities.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the company.
• Manages emails from clients and quick response to clients’ complaints and problems via email, phone call or in person.
• Reconciliation of loadings between clients and the company on a regular basis
• Obtain and maintain truck licensing, registration, permits and other related documents.
• Direct activities such as dispatching, routing and tracking vehicles.
• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational policy.
• Oversee proper use of fuel rations; maintain log and account for fuel and oil storage tanks
• Work closely with the Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee and schedule fleet maintenance and repairs

Requirements

• First Degree in Transportation or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience. Haulage/Transportation experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to make accurate decisions quickly.
• Ability to manage drivers.
• Good planning and proper time management.
