Peridot Forte Solutions Consulting Limited - Our client in Haulage and Logistics industry seeks to recruit the service of:

Job Title: Logistics Officer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational policy.
• Oversee proper use of fuel rations; maintain log and account for fuel and oil storage tanks
• Work closely with the Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee and schedule fleet maintenance and repairs
• Oversee assigned fleet’s operations and make reports on fleet performance and other operational activities.
• Obtain and maintain truck licensing, registration, permits and other related documents.
• Direct activities such as dispatching, routing and tracking vehicles.

Job Requirements

• Ability to make accurate decisions quickly.
• Ability to manage drivers.
• Good planning and proper time management.
• First degree in Transportation or any related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years related work experience. Haulage/Transportation experience is an added advantage.
