Objective


  • To ensure availability and fabrication of mechanical equipment and parts for the Company

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise mechanical engineering inputs in projects and ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, specifications and designs
  • Prepare tender documents and invitation-to-bid for mechanical work, evaluate mechanical contractors tenders and vet contractors designs and procurement procedures
  • Track all production inclusive of quantities, manpower, equipment, materials, etc. and inspect material deliveries for compliance with approved submissions

Requirements

  • First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Engineering disciplines
  • Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant Engineering Disciplines, plus Master’s degree
  • Certification/Membership of relevant professional body
  • NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
  • Applicants must not be more than 34 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
  • Applicants must have Minimum of 6 years relevant post qualification experience .
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

Key Functional Competencies:

  • Testing and commissioning of mechanical installations
  • Application of Mechanical Standards, Specifications and Codes
  • Bid management
