The Obafemi Awolowo University is a comprehensive public institution established in 1962 as The University of Ife. The University is situated on a vast expanse of land totaling 11,861 hectares in Ile-Ife, Osun State, southwest of Nigeria.

The University comprises the central campus, the student residential area, the staff quarters and a Teaching and Research Farm. The central campus comprises the academic, administrative units and service centers while the student residential area is made up of 10 undergraduate hostels and a postgraduate hall of residence.

Position: Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02)

Department: Medical Rehabilitation
Area of Specification: Occupation Therapy

Requirements

• Candidates must possess BMR or B Sc Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Candidate must be a registered member of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria.
• Evidence of research and publications in peer reviewed journals will be an added advantage.

Position: Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 03)

Area of Specification: Weed Science and Entomology (Insect Ecology)

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Plant Science/Crop Production Crop Protection with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division and Master's of Science Degree in Plant Science/Crop Production/Crop Protection.
• Publications in reputable local and international journals and registration for Ph.D. in related discipline would be an added advantage.

Position: Lecturer I/II (CONUASS 03/04)

Requirements

• Candidates must possess first Degree in Estate Management with M Sc Degree (by research thesis) in the same or related/equivalent discipline.
• Candidates' qualifications must be registrable for Ph.D programme in Estate Management in the University and with the ESVARBON.
• Candidates with B.Sc Degree in Estate Management with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division may be considered but must have registered with ESVARBON.
• Experience in teaching at University level will be an added advantage.

• At least three (3) of the publications must have been published outside Nigeria.
