1.) Stock Management Associate (West West)


Job Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Area of Coverage: Kwara and Oyo

  • The Sun King Operations team makes sure Sun King products are produced, shipped, imported, and distributed to consumers around the world and ensures that warranty products are promptly attended to, and end of life products are responsibly disposed of.
  • The Operations team is comprised of innovative, solutions oriented people that work closely with Sun King’s global and regional Research and Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to make sure hundreds of thousands of Sun King products reach last-mile consumers each month. 

About the Role

  • We are looking for an Associate to join its Stock Management team in Nigeria. The Stock Management Associate will work closely with the operation team in Nigeria to ensure the organisation has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in the region.
  • What you would be expected to do:
  • Manage inventory within the warehouse, reporting goods received and inventory levels at the zonal warehouse level
  • Work with third party transporters to ship goods to Sun King stores on time and in good condition
  • Ensure all deliveries to Sun King Stores are cost effective using transporters under agreement with the Company
  • Scan in and out Sun King inventory on a serial basis
  • Coordinate with central (HQ) warehouse to receive stock
  • Communicate any inventory shortage, theft, or loss at the zonal warehouse
  • Perform physical inventory counts of the retail stores on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Ensure proper processes are followed by Sun King Store Executives (SSEs) in the respective regions
  • Ensure the SSEs in region fully understand their responsibilities and role
  • Review accuracy of weekly inventory/ marketing reports for region and aggregate the report to the HQ Ops team
  • Prepare weekly on hand stock report for all shops in region and share with Country Store manager
  • Check on store executives in region to ensure they are maintaining stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Ensure all shops in region maintain proper shop etiquette and cleanliness
  • Receive all faulty products received by the stores, ship back to HQ
  • Train SSEs at their stores as needed
  • Fill in for SSEs who are on personal/ medical leave
  • Follow up on any stock losses or unexplained variances at the store Ensure SSEs write police reports if necessary

3.) Sales Executive - MFI

Job Location: Badagry, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are looking for experienced Sales personnel who would leverage on their expertise to grow our active partner base and revenues by over 100% by onboarding strategic partners across sectors of interest in West and central Africa.

Responsibilities
What you would be expected to do:

  • Responsible for driving sales across consumer sales channels in the assigned territory.
  • Branch level inventory management
  • Planning and conducting product and sales trainings to partner staff.
  • Fulfilling within reasonable time aftersales and warranty requirements.
  • Receiving client queries and resolving consumer and channel queries with stipulated guidelines and timelines.
  • Efficiently supporting trade activations and marketing campaigns as per set plans.
  • Consolidating reports on competition, routes travelled, branches visited and activated, sales and stock position etc.
  • Performing any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Have a minimum of HND / B.Sc in Business Administration / Sales and Marketing.
  • Hands on work experience in service/ FMCG or Renewable Energy industry
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer focus and keen to deliver high standards of service
  • Ready to travel 75% of the time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English and spoken local language corresponding to the area of responsibility (Yoruba / Edo / Igbo / Hausa - as applicable).

4.) Store Executive

Job Location: Eruwa, Ibadan - Oyo
Department: EasyBuy Direct Sales

About the Team
The team you would join:

  • The EasyBuy Direct Sales team is the market facing arm of Sun King’s pay-as-you-go (PAYG) direct to consumer sales business. 
  • The Easy Buy Direct Sales team is in charge of recruiting, managing, and overseeing the company’s network of thousands of commission sales agents, called “Energy Officers” that promote and sell Sun King’s PAYG solar solutions and provide customer ongoing service in their local territories.  
  • Through the EasyBuy PAYG solar business model, customers can purchase a Sun King solar home solution by making a small down-payment up front and paying the remaining balance through a series of installments over a pre-agreed period of time.

About the Role

  • The Sun King Shop Executive will ensure that the overall performance targets of the store are met both in terms of quality and quantity.

What you would be expected to do:
Inventory management:

  • Receive stock and keep track of inventory from the warehouse
  • Manage and issue out stock as per FIFO standards
  • Keep and share off-the -shelf sales details
  • Maintain an updated Goods Received and Goods Issued log online
  • Perform daily cycle counts on stock
  • Dispatch stocks as per requirement
  • Maintain and update stock cards
  • Receive faulty stock from the field and consolidate for disposal
  • Conduct monthly stock take
  • Manage all spare parts inventory and re-orders

Reports:

  • Prepare daily on hand stock report and share with team
  • Report on daily issued out stock for replacement and or replenishment

Repairs:

  • Repairs and Spare Parts management
  • Take custody of the repair tools and tool kits
  • Perform basic check on the faulty units before replacement
  • Conduct basic repair on the in warranty returns

Store management:

  • Ensure the center is well maintained tidy and that the shop floor arrangement is per SKU
  • Welcome walk-in customers and provide assistance as necessary
  • Ensure neatness on the repair work bench in line
  • Observation of safety procedures to avert hazards at the work bench
  • Receive faulty components, identify the technical issue and verify warranty eligibility through several technical checks
  • Support Energy Officers and coordinate with Call Center in resolving customer queries

Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Has a Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution in any related field.
  • Has 2 years hands on experience in a service center
  • Is able to demonstrate high levels of integrity with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Has strong customer focus
  • Is a team player with high levels of flexibility
  • Has proven report-writing experience
  • Has effective communication and people skills
  • Has broad knowledge of the Sun King products
  • Possess strong logical and problem-solving skills
  • Is computer literate with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
