Job Position: Purchasing Officer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Locate vendors of truck parts & conventional goods and evaluate same based on approved criteria
• Register and negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
• Ensure that only truck parts and goods with required specifications and quality are purchased and accepted
• Plan and co-ordinate requests of various units and secures the best deals for truck parts and other items purchased
• Review prices/quality of items purchased and ensure that the company’s best interest are served at all times

Requirements & Skills

• OND/HND or degree holder in Management Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or Social sciences are required.
• Minimum of three years purchasing experience in an organized set up
• Familiarity with truck parts constitute an advantage
• Ability to build a reliable database of vendors for truck  parts and other items
