Job Position: Senior Brand Manager

Job Location: Lagos 

Description

• Our client, a fast-growing FMCG dairy company, is seeking a Senior Brand Manager with proven expertise in end-to-end milk product innovation.
• This is a strategic brand leadership role, not a marketing communications position.
• The role owns the full product journey from concept and formulation alignment to manufacturing scale-up and market launch with a clear mandate to build profitable, scalable milk brands.

Key Accountabilities

• Own the new milk product pipeline from concept approval through commercialization.
• Define brand and innovation strategy using market and consumer insights.
• Lead cross-functional execution across R&D, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and manufacturing partners.
• Drive commercial performance through robust business cases, pricing, COGS, and margin management.
• Enable manufacturing readiness and scalable production.

Success Measures

• Majority of revenue from products launched within the last 12–24 months.
• On-time product launches with strong first-year margins.
• High concept-to-launch conversion rate.
• Zero regulatory or compliance failures.

Candidate Profile

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
• 5–8+ years of experience in FMCG brand management and product development.
• Strong preference for dairy or perishable food/beverage (milk) experience.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling products end-to-end.
• Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong commercial, financial, regulatory, and project leadership capability.
