Job Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering projects from design to execution.
• The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with standards, and support the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Oversee electrical works on projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards
• Review and approve electrical drawings, designs, and technical documents
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality control checks
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and statutory regulations
• Prepare technical reports and provide regular progress updates to management

Requirements & Qualifications

• BSc/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, power distribution, and control systems
• Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools (AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar)
• Experience managing projects and leading technical teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Professional certification (COREN, NSE, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
