Job Position: Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Manage on-site construction workers and subcontractors, allocating tasks and responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, prepare progress reports, and address construction issues promptly.
• Monitor project expenses, stay within budget constraints, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Foster regular communication with stakeholders, addressing concerns from project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Enforce quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance with standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure a secure working environment.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, optimizing resource usage.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits.
• Implement and monitor environmental management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture / Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the construction industry.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Organizational skills for efficient project coordination and documentation.
• Knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, and the ability to identify cost-saving measures.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and the ability to obtain necessary permits.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and local building codes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and allocate tasks.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
• Commitment to enforcing and promoting safety protocols on construction sites.
• Environmental awareness with a focus on implementing and monitoring environmental management practices.
