Job Position: Warehouse Officer

Job Location: Bariga, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse or distribution center.
• Their primary goal is to ensure efficient and organized handling of inventory, accurate record-keeping, and seamless logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. This involves keeping track of incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling any discrepancies.
• Picking and Packing: Oversee the process of picking items from the inventory for outgoing orders.
• Receiving and Inspection: Coordinate the receiving of goods and materials, checking them against purchase orders and ensuring their quality and quantity.
• Any damaged or defective items should be properly documented and reported.
• Storage and Layout: Organize and arrange items within the warehouse to maximize space utilization and ease of access. Implement efficient shelving and storage systems to minimize the risk of damage and facilitate quick retrieval.
• Ensure accurate packing of products, proper labeling, and adherence to customer requirements.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree in relevant fields with 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Candidate must possess great numerical skills
• Must display a high level of transparency and integrity on the job.
• Attention to details
• Good communication skills
• Candidate should be willing to work weekends.

Salary
N65,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
