Prepaid Medicare Services Limited is a leading Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) and a major player in the Nigeria Health Insurance Industry with Head Office in Abuja seeks to fill the under-listed positions with competent, experienced and dedicated individuals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Head of Underwriting Department
Job Ref: HUD-ABJ-11-17
Job Location: Abuja

Required Skills:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology
• Relevant product knowledge
• Knowledge of HMO processes would be an added advantage
• Ability to analyse Information promptly
• Exceptional customer services skills
• Proficient in relevant computer applications
• Must be able to take responsibility and demonstrate high level of integrity in dealing with all stakeholders.

Academic Requirements

• Minimum of first Degree or its equivalent in Actuarial Sciences, Insurance, Economics, Statistics or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience post NYSC
• Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant and related field
• Post Graduate Qualification in Actuarial Sciences, Insurance, Health Management, Health Financing or related fields.
• Certification in or professional membership of Insurance, Actuarial Sciences or related bodies
• ICT in Ms Excel, Ms word and field specific software
• Attendance of related Courses/workshops/Seminars etc.
