We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Quantity Survey Executive

Location: Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk, value management and cost control
• Advising on procurement strategy
• Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
• Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
• Allocating work to subcontractors
• Providing advice on contractual claims
• Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
• Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.Any other duties as may be assigned

Qualification & Experience

• B.Sc/HND in Quantity Surveying.
• A post graduate degree would be an advantage
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years experience and must have worked as QS for a construction company.

• Ability to take charge of sales and marketing campaigns by organizing and managing resources in such a way that all those resources deliver all the work required to execute such campaigns with a defined scope and time, and ensure that the aims of the campaign are achieved.

• Good leadership and people management skills
• Must be market savvy with the ability to network and make acquaintances quickly.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to think outside the box.
