Job Position: Senior Retail Officer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Reporting to: Retail Supervisor
Job Type: permanent 

Job Objective

• To ensure sell out on targets by effectively selling store products
• Ensuring customer support and satisfaction
• Ensuring effective merchandising

Job Responsibilities

• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
• Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
• Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
• Keeping the store tidy and clean
• Greeting customers who enter the shop
• Ensure goods are well displayed or merchandised
• Stocking shelves with merchandise
• Welcome and advise customers on goods and services available at the store
• Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
• Answering queries from customers
• Handling customer complaints within the recommended SLA
• Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
• Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
• Balancing cash registers with receipts
• Dealing with customer refunds.

Professional Requirements

• First Degree in Social Science or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in a retail role
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft suite - MS Excel, Word
