1.) Quality processing Laboratory Technician

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Perform and interpret analytical tests and observations necessary to monitor and control the treatment process, including relating data to the plant operators.
  • Collect in-plant and industrial wastewater samples.
  • Perform and interpret standard bacteriological examinations; identify biological growths by microscopic examination.
  • Perform necessary analyses for industrial waste monitoring.
  • Prepare standard chemical solutions, reagents, stains and media.
  • Make calculations, keep records, and enter data of work performed.
  • Perform or assist in performing surveys, laboratory experiments and special projects to investigate unique problems and develop testing procedures and methods.
  • Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, glassware and supplies including general housekeeping; calibrate lab meters and instruments. Assist in inventory control of supplies and chemicals.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other City employees and the public using principles of good customer service.
  • Foster an environment that embraces diversity, integrity, trust, and respect.
  • Be an integral team player, which involves flexibility, cooperation, and communication.
  • Test and treat boiler feed water, using specified chemicals.
  • Maintains stock of forms and spare parts by verifying inventory of items; notifying laboratory manager when items are needed.
  • Collects lab samples and performs standard analyses and tests as required; adds chemicals as needed.
  • Engage in general housekeeping weekly.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: B.S.C. / HND (2/2 or its equivalent in Biochemistry / Laboratory Technology / Chemistry)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in the Industrial section and Process Plant Operations.

2.)  Laboratory Scientist

Job Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Laboratory Scientist is responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses to provide accurate and reliable data in support of scientific research, testing and development.
  • The role involves ensuring that all tests meet quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, maintaining laboratory equipment, and providing clear documentation of results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory tests, experiments, or analyses according to established protocols.
  • Interpret test results and compare them with the expected outcomes to ensure
  • accuracy.
  • Record, analyze, and present findings in a clear, organized manner
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor the inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering necessary materials as required.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed in accordance with industry standards, guidelines, and regulations (e.g., Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)).
  • Participate in internal audits and external inspections when required.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses.
  • Communicate findings effectively with supervisors and other stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure safe disposal of hazardous materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related field  with 3 years work experience.

Competencies:

  • Expertise in performing laboratory tests, analyzing data, and using laboratory equipment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and methodologies specific.
  • Precision in carrying out tests and documenting results. Ability to identify discrepancies or errors in test results and correct them.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, such as equipment malfunctions or test inconsistencies, and find appropriate solutions
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret experimental data and generate meaningful insights or conclusions.
  • Proficiency with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and general office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., GLP, GMP, ISO standards) and laboratory safety procedures.

3.) Chief Technology Officer

  • The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) provides strategic leadership for the bank’s technology vision, ensuring the secure, innovative, and scalable use of IT to drive digital transformation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric financial services.
  • The CTO leads technology modernization, strengthens cybersecurity resilience, and fosters continuous innovation to maintain competitive advantage and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and execute the bank’s enterprise-wide technology strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the digital transformation roadmap, leveraging AI, blockchain, cloud computing, and automation.

Technology Operations & Infrastructure:

  • Oversee IT infrastructure, core banking systems, enterprise applications, and digital banking platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of all mission-critical systems.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

  • Strengthen cybersecurity posture, data privacy, and IT risk management in compliance with regulatory frameworks.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • IT Governance, Security, or Cloud: CISA, CISSP, AWS, ITIL, PMP.
  • Membership in recognized professional bodies such as Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) or Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) is an advantage.
