1.) Market and Industry Trend Analyst

Job Description
Industry and Market Trend Analysis:
- Track developments in the financial services industry (e.g. CBN regulations, fintech disruption, inflation, interest rates, FX dynamics).
- Monitor macroeconomic indicators that affect lending, deposits, investment products, and customer behavior
Competitor Benchmarking:
- Analyze competitor banks’ products, pricing, branch expansion, digital offerings, and campaigns.
- Provide competitive intelligence reports for business units, senior management, and strategic teams.
Customer & segment Insights:
- Study customer acquisition, retention, and churn rates across segments (Retail, SME, HNWI, LOC & EFS).
- Identify behavioral trends in channel usage, digital adoption, and product uptake (cards, loans, savings, etc.).
Performance Reporting and Dashboarding:
- Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Excel) showing market share, revenue trends, and segment performance.
- Generate reports that track product penetration, fee income, and cross-sell ratios.
Support Strategic Initiatives:
- Provide intelligence to support product development, new market entry, branch optimization, and digital transformation.
- Assist in pricing strategies, marketing campaign planning, and competitor threat assessments.
Collaboration Across Business Units:
- Work with Retail, Commercial, LOC, HNWI, Payment and Strategy teams to supply tailored insights.
- Support quarterly business reviews, board reporting, and investment/expansion decisions.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Management
- Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, and Excel
- Demonstrated experience in executing presentations of technical and business level data.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Tableau is a plus
- Proven ability to synthesize analytics and research results into clear insights, and to deliver actionable recommendations.
- Business writing and presentation skills for executive reporting
- Ability to link market signals with financial impact.

2.) Product Officer, Liabilities

Job Description
Business Development and Financial performance:
- Assist with the development of segment specific products and services in conjunction with the segment heads to drive Personal Banking business.
- Constantly monitor performance of PB liability products to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies for converting prospects to profitable customer relationships.
- Prepare market research report showing competitive edge of Ecobank, in terms of product pricing, product/service offerings, customer perception, peer comparison (at least 3 PB focused Banks) as well as recommended strategies.
- Liaise with other support units such as technology, payment, marketing, operations etc. to drive implementation of the communicated strategic goals and objectives for the team.
- Supports the front-line sales staff for effective selling of the bank’s products and services.
Loyalty Management:
- Identify and sign-up/Renew Lifestyle benefits partners for Personal Banking customers.
- Ensure adequate spread and flavour in our bouquet of loyalty packages.
- Drive usage/patronage of loyalty schemes by PB customers
- Maintain close and cordial relationship with loyalty partners.
- Ensure prompt resolution of all customer service issues relating to loyalty reward schemes.
- Track and provide periodic reports on Life-style partner activity level and propose modification to contracts where appropriate.
Customer Excellence:
- Participate in customer focused events organized by Ecobank such as Market storms, customer forums, mystery shopping etc. Draft report on same making recommendations where necessary.
- In collaboration with CEX team, drive the execution of solutions addressing Complaint Root-cause analysis outcome.
- Ensure prompt resolution of all PB customer complaints and provide feedback within 48/72hrs.
People management:
- Work with the analytics team and consumer banking sales force to achieve the overall strategic objectives of CCB.
Process, control, and operational performance:
- Implement process of on boarding new Personal Banking customers. Monitor and track to ensure prompt and proper on boarding of every new Personal Banking customer across the Bank in line with the process.
- Drive strategies to reduce customer attrition, especially within the first 90days.
- Ensure full adherence to Operational Risk and Compliance guidelines across the Personal Banking business function e.g., KYC and anti-money laundering measures.
- Any other duties/functions given by the TL CCB Liability Products and Head, CCB Products & Analytics.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve PB business.
- Develop unique promotions and campaigns to win new relationships and retain existing customers
Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 2nd class lower in First Degree (MBA, MSC, MA, ML and/or Professional Qualifications may be needed.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in financial services and the banking industry with specific responsibility for relationship management, product development and reviews.
Skills, Capabilities & Personal attributes:
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Must be analytical and have financial numeracy
- Strong analytical skills including financial statement analysis, competitive analysis, segmentation analysis and statistical analysis; experience with data gathering and data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in writing and delivering fact-based presentations and recommendations to Team leader and unit Head
- Excellent command of English language
- Strong Microsoft Office skills

3.) Officer, Back Office Operations, EDC Securities Limited

Job Purpose
- To assist the Securities Business in the management of the operations function to ensure operational efficiency and avoidance of loss and growth of the business in a profitable and cost-effective manner.
- To be responsible for the entire Securities Back Office Operational processes.
Job Context
- The role implies to be customer minded with abilities to address/escalate issues to the Head of Operations, Nigeria.
- The candidate is expected to constantly be on top of operational issues in the Securities space and provide the needed information, reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Custodian of the overall operational process.
- Supervises the processing of various client requests- subscriptions, redemptions, transfer request, etc. for retail funds and purchases, sales and cash movements for institutional funds.
- Retail and institutional fund reconciliations with custodial cash positions.
- Resolving dealing-related enquiries by email and by telephone, supplying information relating to funds’ portfolios, prices, dealing procedures, markets.
- Liaising with parties to the fund such as custodians, registrars, auditors.
- Settlement of transactions into clients’ portfolios as per transaction contract notes.
- Supervises the Maintenance of subscribers’ register and investors files.
- Processing corporate actions and cash receipts such as dividend/interest payments.
- Semi-annual fund level reporting.
- Client statement preparation and reporting for both retail and institutional segments.
- Securities system liaison to ensure alignment with the operational process for both web and core versions.
- Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering procedures.
- Rendering of returns to regulators and relevant statutory bodies.
- Carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience & Qualifications:
- First Degrees in a quantitative field.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in Securities space
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA is desirable.
- Ability to implement procedures to ensure effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Customer focused & result oriented.
- Good organizational and time management skills are highly desirable.
