We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Store Manager
Job Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Ensure proper management of all inventory and operations in the store. From ordering, receiving to managing inventory.
- Ensure safe custody of all store-related inventory and replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe working environment as per government regulation
- Manage the store layout, and supervise other staff members and keep a record of sales
- Receive, upload and shelf all supplies
- Perform stock related duties like returning, packing, labelling and pricing goods
- Inspect delivers for discrepancy or damage
- Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
- Rotate stock and store rejected goods and expired quantities in the appropriate way.
- Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store
- Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month
- Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase
- Generate a material received report (MRR) timely
- Ensure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method
- ensuring that storage areas, shelves and bins are clean and tidy at all times and in line with agreed layout to enable ease of stocking, withdrawal and reduction of incidences of commercial obsolescence.
- Ensures that the workplace is organized according to extant 5S standards
- Participates actively in all scheduled inventory stock counts.
- Actively takes part in reconciliations resulting from stock counts
Requirements
- Bachelors in Bookkeeping, Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a store manager in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing company
- 5+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
- Must have Knowledge of FEEBOOk and bookstore
- Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
- Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
- Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift
- Skills to operate common office equipment
