A leading indigenous Company in the Oil and Gas Industry is seeking to engage the services of experienced and efficient individuals to fill the position below:

Job Position: Structural Engineer
Job Location: Nigeria

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of BSc/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and structural design software
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Independent, interdisciplinary building skill and knowledge.
• High level of motivation and commitment
• Must be a member of COREN Professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Must be versatile with designs of building.
• Experienced in analysing configurations of basic structural components of a building or other structure
• Requisite experience in considering the strength of various materials to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design.
• Knowledge in liaising with other designers including Architects to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
• Must be able to make drawings specification and computer models of structures for building contractors.
• Must have strong analytical and technical skills
• Must be sensitive to timeliness and deadlines and ensure work is accomplished within the stipulated time.
• Age 45 years and above.
