Amitouch Global Concepts Limited is a360-degree marketing and Brand Communication Agencythat specializes in Above the line (ATL) and Below the Line (BTL) marketing communication such as; Strategy Development, Traditional and Digital Media, Experiential Marketing, (Consumer sampling, In-Store sampling, Trade Activations, Product Launches, Road Shows, Sales and Channel Development), Logistics, POSM materials, Event Organization and Management.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting functions for the company, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and tax preparation.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, be proficient in using tax preparation software like Tax Promax, and have experience working in a fast paced, multi-faceted business environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger, including processing and recording all financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
• Calculate and process payroll, including tax withholdings and remittances
• Prepare and file all required tax returns and forms, including utilizing Tax Promax software
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support business initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Assist in the preparation of audit documents and liaise with external auditors
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, brand & logistics, and events.
• Must be proficient in using accounting software, including Tax Promax for tax preparation
• Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of GAAP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants) certification is a must have
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data management.
