Job Description

• We are looking for a School Accountant who has technical expertise and a passion for education, ensuring our finances operate as smoothly as our classrooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain precise financial records in line with policies and standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation duties.
• Use accounting software and digital tools to improve efficiency. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Liaise with auditors, vendors, and regulators to ensure compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Over 5 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a school Setting.
• ICAN/ACCA certification (desirable).
• Proficient in IT and software applications (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
