Responsibilities


  • Set up and maintain the business within accounting systems,ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Streamline and optimize accounting processes to support efficient financial operations.
  • Ensure the security of financial transactions, preventing theft, and verifying that all remittances are accurately received in the bank account.
  • Ensure the flexibility to accommodate an expanding product line and customer base.
  • Generate and interpret financial statements, providing valuable insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Create Google Sheets views for real-time tracking of daily sales, expenses, revenue, and profit.
  • Provide instant visibility into key financial metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Administer salary and bonus payments accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain meticulous inventory control to ensure all stocks are accurately accounted for.
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Develop efficient auditing processes by automating them using Excel, Google Sheets, or accounting software.
  • Establish budgets and forecast expected income, providing financial guidance to support decision-making.
  • Develop financial systems and processes that can rapidly adapt and scale with the growth of the eCommerce business.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue maximization to support blitzscaling efforts.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies that align with the company's rapid expansion goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in eCommerce, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Experience in audit completion
  • Knowledge of Cost Control
  • Ability to establish scalable financial processes
  • Experience in Inventory Management
  • Experience in Financial Reporting
  • Experience in budget manangement
  • Knowledge of Cash Flow Management.
