Job Position: Accountant

Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented, commercially aware Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support informed business decision-making.
• This role is central to financial control, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle tax filings, statutory remittances, and regulatory compliance
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Nigerian tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
