African Foundries Limited (AFL) was established to support the accelerating growth in Nigeria by making the country self-reliant for steel rebars and eliminating its dependence on imported rebars. AFL is set up to reach a 0.5 million-ton per year capacity for high strength rebars and allied products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Piosition: Admin / HR Officer

Job Location: Ogijo, Ogun

Job Description


  • Coordinate office activities and monitor staff performance to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage correspondence and reports.
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures.
  • Confirmation of new hires upon successful completion of probation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Conduct necessary investigation where disciplinary issues have been flagged against an erring staff.
  • Attend disciplinary panels and take reports/minutes of such meetings.
  • Coordinate office activities and monitor staff performance to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support training and development initiatives by identifying employee skill gaps and coordinating relevant training programs.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all facilities, equipment and assets.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees’ inquiries, concerns and grievances.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, maintain a fair and positive work environment.
  • Assist in conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover data.
  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline procedure.
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of Admin Operations within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  • Organize and supervise other office activities.
  • Coordinate with other teams for vehicle provision
  • Manage company CUG lines, office equipment repair and maintenances and other admin related duties.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc qualification with 2 - 7 years of work experience.
