Value Seeds Limited was incorporated in 2009 and started business same year.  We are in the business of research, multiplication and distribution of field crops; importation and distribution of assorted vegetable seeds. We are licensed by National Agricultural Seeds Council. We are a member of SEEDAN (Seeds Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria) and one of the 8-member Ad hoc Committee set up to run the affairs of seed industry in Nigeria today.

Details

• The Agricultural Engineer will be responsible for the design of agricultural machinery and equipment using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology, test agricultural machinery and equiplent to ensure that they perform properly and supervise processing operations.

Job Description

• Design agricultural machinery components and equipment, using computer-aided design (CAD) technology
• Test agricultural machinery and equipment to ensure that they perform properly
• Design processing plants and supervise processing operations
• Design structures to store and process crops
• Design and supervise environmental and land reclamation projects in agriculture and related industries
• Prepare reports, sketches, working drawings, specifications, proposals, and budgets for proposed systems
• Design sensing, measuring, and recording devices, and other instrumentation
• Conduct educational programs that provide farmers or farm cooperative members with information that can help them improve agricultural productivity
• Discuss plans with clients, contractors, consultants, and other engineers so that the plans can be evaluated and any necessary changes made

Qualifications
The candidate:

• Must have a B.Sc. or HND in an Agricultural Engineering or cognate fields
• At least 2 years proven working experience
